Ilagan, Isabela – The Provincial Government of Isabela, in partnership with Honda Philippines, Inc. and motorcycle dealer, Motorali -- have gathered close to five hundred (500) motorcycle riders and university students on the opening day of the riding safety caravan in the province of Isabela.

The Riding Safety Caravan started with theory input and practical riding instructions, which emphasized key items crucial to the motorcycle-riding Isabelenos. These include donning of proper riding gears, applying riding safety techniques and observance of proper attitude when interacting with other road users.

Casey Stoner took a dominant victory in the final round of the 2008 MotoGP
season to secure second place in the Constructors' World Championship for
Ducati. Today's win, at the circuit where he celebrated his debut success
in the 125cc class back in 2003, was also the 150th for Australian riders
in all Grand Prix classes.

Valentino Rossi brought the curtain down on a spectacular season with a
third place in Valencia today, his 16th podium from 18 races in a year which saw
him win his eighth world title. The 29-year-old Italian has taken nine wins, five seconds and two thirds this year, surpassing the all-time premier class win record and the record for the most points in a season in the process. His outstanding performances this season also helped the Fiat Yamaha Team to secure the Teams' title and Yamaha the Manufacturers' title.

Fiat Yamaha Team rider Jorge Lorenzo took a deserved Rookie of the Year title by finishing eighth at Valencia today, his fourth position in the
championship the highest finish for a premier-class newcomer since the advent of four-stroke MotoGP.

Rizla Suzuki's Loris Capirossi used all his experience to fight to the checkered flag at Valencia today to secure himself a top-10 finish in the 2008 MotoGP World Championship.

2008 World Champion Valentino Rossi rode an inch-perfect race in energy-sapping conditions at Sepang today to take his ninth win of the
season and his 150th career podium. He is only the second rider in the history of the sport to pass this milestone, the other being Giacomo
Agostini, whose all-time win record Rossi has already broken this season. Rossi’s Fiat Yamaha team-mate Jorge Lorenzo meanwhile had a disappointing day, with his challenge ending in the gravel trap on lap 12.

Valentino Rossi (Yamaha) won today in searing heat with Dani Pedrosa (Repsol Honda RC212V) scoring second place. His best result so far since his switch to new rubber on the pneumatic-valved RC212V. But perhaps the third position achieved by class rookie Andrea Dovizioso (JiR Scot Hondam RC212V) was the more significant achievement.

Rizla Suzuki MotoGP's Loris Capirossi battled to a well-earned seventh place at this afternoon's Malaysian Grand Prix at Sepang as track temperatures reached an amazing 60 & #186;C.

The iconic Italian motorcycle manufacturer, Ducati, has very good reason to celebrate this week. Australian factory rider Troy Bayliss was crowned 2008 World Superbike Champion at the latest round in France, and in the process also secured the Manufacturers title for Ducati. Meanwhile, over in Australia, Casey Stoner took a convincing win in his home country in what was Ducati's 100th MotoGP race. As technical partner to Ducati, these are also victories for Shell.

The Motorcycle RidersCourse (MRC), together with Apexx Performance and Bike Plus, will be ending its 2008 school season with not just one, but two levels, of its largely successful Advanced Rider Training (ART) program. What’s more, two ART Track Days are also in the offing for October and December of this year for those who would like to hone their riding skills or simply enjoy and have fun on track with other riders.

A determined ride in today's Australian Grand Prix at Philip Island saw Anthony West take the honours as first Kawasaki rider across the line, as the 27-year-old Aussie held off hard charging teammate, John Hopkins, to take a well deserved12th place in front of his home crowd.

Loris Capirossi and Chris Vermeulen both had their own race long battles during today's Australian Grand Prix as they pushed themselves and their machinery to the limit to get the best results possible for Rizla Suzuki MotoGP.

Team Suzuki Alstare rider Fonsi Nieto had his best weekend of the year since the opening round of the World Superbike Championship in Qatar, taking a runner-up spot in race one at Magny-Cours in France today.

Fiat Yamaha rider and 2008 World Champion Valentino Rossi recovered from yesterday’s mishap to charge through the field from the fourth row at Phillip Island today, eventually taking second behind Casey Stoner. His team-mate Jorge Lorenzo took a second consecutive fourth place after a race long battle with several other riders.

Casey Stoner took his fifth victory of the season, his second in a row at Phillip Island, and with it celebrated a special milestone for Ducati today. This was the Italian factory's 100th MotoGP race since joining the series in 2003.

Valentino Rossi rode a perfect race to win Yamaha’s home Grand Prix in Japan today, claiming the 2008 MotoGP World Championship title in the
process.

Kawasaki's John Hopkins fought a hard battle to the checkered flag today to clinch 10th place in the A-style Grand Prix of Japan at the Motegi circuit.

Rizla Suzuki MotoGP racer Loris Capirossi produced a hard fought race to bring his Suzuki GSV-R home in sixth position at Motegi today.
