Sept 28 : Shell Advance Masters Trophy and Shell Advance 130 Grand Prix

Pilipinas Shell will be the proud sponsor for the two race classes in “The first InsideRACING Grand Prix Presented Motolite Motorcycle Batteries”, a special annual GP-style race event sanctioned by NAMSSA for underbone motorcycle road racing that will take place on November 24-25 at the Carmona Circuit in Cavite.
 

The Shell Advance Masters Trophy will be contested by Beginner, Novice and Expert riders aged 24 years old and above. Using the fastest underbone models from participating manufacturer teams up to 150cc with open modifications, this class promises excitement, performance and machine preparation at the highest level. The Shell Masters Trophy will help push for the development of the fastest and technically advanced machines in local racing.

The Shell Advance 130 Grand Prix will be contested by Novice and Expert riders currently competing at the highest level in local racing. Using motorcycles modified up to 130cc displacement and open machine modifications based on IRGP rules, it will be the most competitive racing class in IRGP where the top riders will compete fielded by most of participating manufacturers.

Shell Advance has been a pioneer in supporting both local and international racing activities. It has been the long time sponsor of the EL Racing Tech Super Scooter series since 1998 up to 2005, SK Invitational Series and the Pinoy Bike Brother Series. Shell Advance has been the title sponsor of the BRC-NAMSSA Shell Advance National Superbike Series since its inception in 1996. Their star rider Jolet Jao has been a ten-time national Superbike Champion and multi-champion in underbone racing as well.

Shell Advance has been the technical partner of the renowned Ducati Corse that just recently clinched the 2007 MotoGP World Championship with Casey Stoner. Shell Advance has also partnered with Ducati to win the World Superbike Championship in 2006 with another Australian rider Troy Bayliss. The partnership also won the World Superbike Championships in 2001, 2003,and 2004.
