The Start of a Great New Tradition Fans of underbone racing will be thrilled with the holding of the first InsideRACING Grand Prix at the renowned and historic venue Carmona Circuit in Cavite on November 24-25, 2007. The first InsideRACING Grand Prix (IRGP) will be one of the most awaited local event in Philippine underbone racing.

One Big Race
For InsideRACING magazine, IRGP will be the single most important annual race event of the underbone racing season. It will be given our maximum attention and effort in terms of branding and publicity. Because of the traditional distinction and prestige that IRGP will offer to the riders, teams, and manufacturers, we believe that it will have the participation
of the great names and teams in local underbone racing. We hope that it can also become a platform for many riders and teams towards racing greatness and for manufacturers to showcase their products.

The Spirit of Competition
The objective of IRGP is not only to hold a race. It also aims to celebrate the people and supporters behind local racing, to create and record great moments in local racing history, and to build stronger and closer relationships between the people and the industry behind the this motorcycle lifestyle. While winning is the ultimate goal, participation alone will bring immeasurable exposure and recognition to riders, teams and sponsors.

Platform for Growth of the Sport and Industry
Motorsport marketing is a highly effective and targeted marketing platform that is unique in its excitement, glamour and prestige. Few sports can generate such emotion and thrills which is the reason why motorsport is growing in popularity each season. The holding of IRGP aims to also expose the sport to new rider groups and generate new race fans. With the help of our friends and loyal followers, we hope to attract a significant attendance during the event itself, and to become one of the main focus of interest in the motorcycling community as well.

Extensive Race Promotion and Exposure
Aside from the regular full page IR magazine advertisements with nationwide exposure, IRGP will have television and radio plugs as well as event posters and web pages for a full month before the event. A Race Primer describing the event and inviting clubs and the public to watch the race will be published by end of October. Also, an official IRGP
Souvenir/Race Program will be produced . After the GP, a comprehensive race report in our magazine and DVD video shall follow. IRGP will be branded as one of the most prestigious and anticipated annual race event in local underbone racing.

“GP” Format and Spirit
IRGP’s vision is to bring a semblance of the “GP” experience to our local racers, teams and spectators. All the major teams will have enclosed and carpeted pit garages. A Dress Code and an ID access system shall be enforced to all participants and teams members and strict compliance with the Time Schedule will be observed. It will be a two-day event similar to most international races. There will be a Free Practice and two Timed Qualifying sessions on Saturday followed by a Warm-up session and a Main Race on Sunday for all race classes. Timing will be done by electronic transponders to ensure accuracy in scoring. Podium celebrations with champagne spraying shall immediately follow each race to glorify the top 3 winners. Special representatives from the sport and industry shall award the trophies to the winners. It will be sanctioned by the local FIM-affiliate entity, the National Motorcycle Safety and Sports Association or NAMSSA

Best of the Best
Manufacturer participation will be the focus of the annual race. Factory teams and top Private teams are expected to join and field top riders. There will only be four prestigious race classes (115GP, 130GP, Juniors Trophy, and Masters Trophy) and the grid will be limited only to 20 per class. Riders must be in complete safety gears (All must be in leather suits!) and bikes must be presentable. Aside from trophies and wreaths, IRGP plans to give out more than P100,000 in cash prizes paid down to 8th place for all classes.

IRGP will be a memorable experience for the riders, teams, spectators, event partners and sponsors.
