The race scheduled on Oct 14 at the Carmona Circuit Philippines to select members for Team Yamaha¡ '07 to represent the Philippines on the forthcoming Yamaha ASEAN Cup 2007 in Malaysia this December will be organized by EL Racing Tech represented by it's President Ernesto Leongson (0917-8837643) and scanctioned by NAMSSA.

The rules and schedule to determine the ten riders are as follows:
Racing Rules:
1) Type of Races:
A) 110cc Class
B) 135cc Class
2) Number of Races per Class:
1st Race (Heat 1) in the Morning
2nd Race (Heat 2) in the Afternoon
3) Racing Regulations:
A) Piston
110cc Class - max displacement allowed is 115cc
135cc Class - max displacement allowed is 135cc
B) Body Plastic Parts
Frame/Body must have at least 75% OEM Plastic Parts
C) Other Parts ¡V Open to Modifications
D) Minimum Racing Weight Allowed ( Rider + Machine )
D1) 110cc „³ 145 kg
D2) 135cc „³ 150 kg
4) Who are those qualified to join the YMH Cup Race?
A) Must be Filipino in citizenship
B) For below 18 years old, must have written consent from
father or mother.
C) Member of NAMSSA
D) Those who have Yamaha Under-bone Machines
( Personally owned or Borrowed)
E) Those who have circuit racing gears
F) Those who have no existing racing contract (directly or
indirectly) with competing brands racing team for 2007.
5) Racing Entry:
One participating rider can only race one class
6) Grid Positioning:
A) 1st Race per Class -> Draw of Numbers and late comers will
be assigned at the rear of the grid
B) 2nd Race per Class -> Based on rider¡¦s position during the
1st race.
7) Scoring per Class per Race:
Morning Race
1st Placer / 5 Points
2nd Placer / 4 Points
3rd Placer / 3 Points
4th Placer / 2 Points
5th Placer / 1 Point

Afternoon Race
1st Placer / 7 Points
2nd Placer / 6 Points
3rd Placer / 5 Points
4th Placer / 4 Points
5th Placer / 3 Point

NOTE:
In case of tie/s, Points of 2nd race or Heat # 2 will be given more weight than
the 1st race or Heat # 1
08) Scrutineering:
A) Machines of the top five winners per class will be inspected
immediately after the 2nd race.
B) In case of violation/s, the next in line will be inspected and if
no problem then the next in line will be declared the winner/s
C) No protest from the participants shall be entertained after each
race.
09) Proper Rider's Conduct (inside & outside the track):
A) Rough attitude of participants inside or outside the race track
shall not be tolerated and will be subjected to penalties
B) Intentional foul during racing action is strictly not allowed and
will be subjected to outright disqualification.

08:01am-08:30am / Riders Briefing
08:31am-08:45am / Official practice for 110cc participants
08:46am-09:00am / Official practice for 135cc participants
09:15am-09:45am / 30 minutes program
10:00am-11:30am / 1st race for 110cc
11: 45am-12:15pm / 1st race for 135cc
12:30pm-02:00pm / 1&1/2 hour break time
02:15pm-02:45pm / 2nd race for 110cc
03:00pm-03:30pm / 2nd race for 135cc
03:45pm-04:15pm / Computation of winners
04:30pm-05:00pm / Awarding Ceremony
NOTE:
All activities shall be implemented strictly according to time schedule.
