Mar 03 : Taguig MX races Sunday

The Fast Track Circuit shall be hosting the race to the Mayor Tinga Cup Round 3 out of 10 Philippine National Supercross Championships and race for the Philippine National Champion on March 9th, 2008.
 

After the recently concluded Puerto Princesa City FIM Motocross of Masters of Asia the Philippine MX Team and its national riders shall be raring up to go in this city center circuit located in Metro Manila. The event is sanctioned by NAMSSA of whom is affiliated with the POC and organized by Xtreme Worx and is supported by City of Taguig, Inside Racing, Oakley, Flamboyant Construction , JBS Moto Shop, Stoplight TV, GCG, Topmaster and Sign Effex.

Over 150 riders are expected to attend the event from Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao . After the successful launching of the Circuit only in the past year it has already earned its accolades in aiding sport tourism for the country, as it hosted the FIM Asia Championships Supercross series held last year with over 10 countries participating in the event.

Conveniently located in the city center the facility is the home to the training grounds of the Philippine MX Team of which shall see action in the Iran round 2 of the Asian MX Championships to be held on June 27th, 2008.

“The facility has helped moved the grass roots training grounds for MX in the country today as its easily accessible in the metropolitan center and we would wish to thank Mayor Freddie Tinga and City Admin Will Villar for their continued support to our sports, making Taguig the motorsports capital of Metro Manila” quipped Macky Carapiet, President of NAMSSA.
